Chargers Beat Raiders 30-10

The Los Angeles Chargers used a big second quarter to beat the Oakland Raiders 30-10 in Week 17 of the NFL season. With the win, the Chargers improved their record to 9-7 on the season.
The offense got started in the second quarter when Melvin Gordon rushed for 11 yards and fumbled and Keenan Allen recovered the fumble for a touchdown. This gave the Chargers a 7-0 lead.
Later in the quarter, Derek Carr connected with Amari Cooper for an 87-yard touchdown strike. Giorgio Tavecchio hit a 40-yard field goal and the Raiders led 10-7.
Philip Rivers answered back with a 56-yard touchdown pass to Tyrell Williams. Rivers connected with Allen later in the quarter and Los Angeles held a 20-10 lead heading into halftime.
In the 3rd quarter, Nick Rose hit a 25-yard field goal. Los Angeles capped off their scoring when Rivers connected with Travis Benjamin for a 62-yard touchdown. Los Angeles went on to win 30-10.
Tre Boston recorded an interception for the Bolts. Los Angeles needed help from the other AFC teams to make the playoffs but they fell just short.
