Austin Rivers Dealing With Achilles Strain

According to Brad Turner of the Los Angles Times, Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers is dealing with a right Achilles tendon strain.

Rivers has seen an increase in minutes this season especially with injuries to Patrick Beverley and Milos Teodosic early in the year. Rivers is averaging a career high 15.8 points per game this season and had back-to-back excellent performances against the Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzles.
Los Angeles will take on the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday night in theor final game on the 2017 calendar year. Los Angeles is currently second in the Pacfic Divison with a record of 15-19.
