Clippers Assign Blake Griffin To G-League

According to Marc Spears of ESPN.com, the Los Angeles Clippers have assigned power forward Blake Griffin to the G-League Agua Caliente Clippers.
The Clippers have assigned forward Blake Griffin to the G-League Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. Griffin will practice with the team today as he continues his rehab from a left MCL sprain.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.
Doc Rivers said after Clippers game Tuesday night that Blake Griffin will practice Wednesday with their G-League team, Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. It’ll be another step towards BG hopefully playing vs. Lakers Friday night. He’s been out with left knee injury.

Griffin has been out since Novemeber with a MCL injury. With Griffin practicing with the G-League team it looks as if he is on track to play Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
