Clippers Can’t Stop Cavs; L 126-121

The Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. They lost 126-121. It was an impressive game from both sides, as the teams stuck through it till the end.
Blake Griffin led the Clippers in scoring, putting up 32 points and 3 assists and 10 rebounds. Chris Paul came up with 15 points, 14 assists and 8 rebounds, while JJ Redick wasn’t far behind with 14 points and 1 rebound.
As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, they were dominant throughout. LeBron James brought in 34 points, 7 assists and 11 rebounds. Kyrie Irving had a very impressive 37 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Tristan Thompson had a season-high 24 points and 12 rebounds after starting for Kevin Love.
The Clippers were up 64-61 at the half, but the Cavs were able to push through until the last few seconds.
It was a night of firsts for both teams!
For the Clippers, their newest acquisition stepped into the game for the first time. Austin Rivers became an official Clipper tonight and will now be coached by Dad Rivers. Fans were not completely convinced he’s the right fit for the team:
