Rockets Stay Hot Beat Lakers 118-95

The Houston Rockets stayed hot and took care of business against the Los Angeles Lakers 118-95 on Sunday night to win their seventh game in a row. Los Angeles has now lost five in a row.
James Harden led the way for the club. He had 36 points, 9 assists, and 4 rebounds while Chris Paul had 21 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. Eric Gordon reached double-figures off the bench with 22 points while Clint Capela had 8 points and 13 rebounds.
For the Lakers Brandon Ingram had 18 points, 5 assists, and 9 rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 16 points while Larry Nance Jr. had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
Kyle Kuzma led Los Angeles in scoring with 22 points and 12 rebounds off the bench. Brook Lopez added 10 points and 5 rebounds in limited minutes.
Los Angeles shot just 38% from the field and turned the ball over 20 times in the loss.
Up next Los Angeles will try and right the ship when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers on the road on Thursday night.
