Angels Acquire Reliever Jim Johnson From Braves

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have acquired former All-Star reliever Jim Johnson from the Atlanta Braves.

Fletcher reported further information on the news.

Fletcher continued.

Johnson is a former 5th round pick of the Baltimore Orioles in the 2001 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Orioles, Oakland Athletics, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Braves throughout his career.

He was named an All-Star in 2012 where he recorded a career-high 51 saves.
