Ducks Bounce Back Beat Blues 3-2

The Anaheim Ducks bounced back from 7-3 defeat against the Chicago Blackhawks and beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Wednesday night. The Ducks were able to snap a four-game losing streak with the win.
Anaheim got the offense started in the first period when Antoine Vermette scored. His goal was assisted by Kevin Roy and Francois Beauchemin. This gave Anaheim a 1-0 lead after the first period.
In the second period, Roy scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Jakob Silfverberg and Cam Fowler. A few minutes later Vermette scored his second goal of the night to push the lead to 3-0.
Kyle Brodziak scored a wrist shot goal in the third period that trimmed the lead. Dmitrii Jaskin and Joel Edmundson were credited with the assists.
Brodziak scored later in the period with another wrist shot goal. Vladimir Sobotka and Colton Parayko were credited with the assists but it wasn’t enough and the Ducks won 3-2.
