According to Stu Cowan of Montreal Gazette, the Los Angeles Kings have acquired Torrey Mitchell from the Montreal Canadiens.

Mitchell is a former 4th round pick of the 2004 NHL Draft of the San Jose Sharks. He has spent time with the Minnesota Wild, Sharks, Buffalo Sabers, and Canadiens throughout his career.
