Hornets Down Clippers As Skid Continues

Both the Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers entered last night’s contest on a losing streak but Charlotte was able to end theirs with a 102-87 victory.
Lou Williams led the Clippers in scoring with 25 points off the bench in just 29 minutes. Blake Griffin added 19 points, 4 assists, and 8 rebounds, while DeAndre Jordan recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
For Charlotte Kemba Walker led the way with 26 points and 6 assists. Dwight Howard recorded a double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Jeremy Lamb added 17 points and 4 rebounds off the bench while Nicolas Batum had 12 points and 7 assists. Marvin Williams reached double figures with 10 points as well.
While both teams struggled from the field, Los Angeles was able to connect on just 8/29 three-point attempts and scored just 16 points in the fourth that was the difference in the game.
Los Angeles take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Monday with Patrick Beverley expected to be back in the lineup.
