Angels Interested In Free Agent 1B Logan Morrison

According to Jon Morosi of the MLB Network, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are interested in free agent first basemen Logan Morrison.

Evan Drelich of the NBC Sports shared information on the Boston Red Sox meeting with the first basemen.

Morrison is a former 22nd round pick of the Florida Marlins in the 2005 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Marlins, Seattle Mariners, and Tampa Bay Rays.
Last season with the Rays he played in a career-high 149 games and hit 38 home runs while driving in 85 runs. Morrison hit .246 and did strikeout 149 times.
