Lakers Start Road Trip With Back-to-Back Losses

The Los Angeles Lakers have begun their road trip with back to back losses as they fell to the Washington Wizards last night 111-95. Los Angeles now sits at 5-7 on the season and are 1-4 on the road.

Los Angeles saw 7 players hit double figures with Brook Lopez and Jordan Clarkson leading the way with 15 points apiece. Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each scored 13 points with Kuzma grabbing 9 rebounds.

Julius Randle was a rebound shy of a double-double as he had 11 points and 9 rebounds. Lonzo Ball flirted with triple-double as he had 10 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds. Brandon Ingram added 10 points.

On the other side, Washington saw three players score 20 or more points. John Wall, Bradley Beal,  and Otto Porter each had a strong game. Wall had 23 points and 8 rebounds, Beal at 22 points, and Porter had 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Markieff Morris added 16 points in just 17 minutes. Los Angeles struggled once again shooting the ball. They shot just 3/23 from behind the arch. Los Angeles will take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night at 5:30.
