Jaguars Edge Chargers In Overtime, 20-17

Chargers

Josh Lambo came back to haunt the team that he spent his first two seasons with. Lambo’s 30-yard field goal with 3:12 left in overtime, gave the Jacksonville Jaguars a 20-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Los Angeles had several great opportunities to beat the Jaguars at home but fail to capitalize. Bolts Safety Tre Boston was able to pick off Jaguars Quarterback Blake Bortles twice and defense slowed down rookie Leonard Fournette to only 33 yards on the ground.

Chargers rookie Austin Ekeler had one of the best performances of his brief career. Ekeler gained 119 all-purpose yards, including two touchdown passes from Philip Rivers to give the Bolts lead on both occasions.

NEXT UP FOR THE CHARGERS:

Los Angeles (3-6), will be at home to face another tough opponent in the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Bolts are still in third place in the AFC West, three games behind the Kansas City Chiefs.

Los Angeles will need to rebound if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
