Ball Bounces Back, Lakers Beat Suns 132-130

Lonzo Ball was one assist shy of a triple-double and the Los Angeles Lakers got their first win of the season with a 132-130 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Los Angeles now sits at 1-1 on the year.
Ball who had his struggles against Patrick Beverly and the Los Angeles Clippers in game one of the season had 29 points including 8 in the 4th quarter, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. Brandon Ingram scored a career-high 25 points as well.
Brook Lopez added a double-double. He ha 19 points and 11 rebounds while Corey Brewer added 5 points but did an excellent job against the elite scorer Devin Booker. Jordan Clarkson chipped in 17 points off the bench in just 17 minutes while the rookie Kyle Kuzma added 15. Julius Randle played just 12 minutes and scored 8 points.
On the other side, Eric Bledsoe led the way with 28 points and 2 assists. Booker recorded a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds.
T.J. Warren chipped in 24, while Tyson Chandler and Mike James reached double figures with 13 and 12 points. For the Lakers, it was encouraging to see Ingram and Ball play well on the road and will the Lakers to victory.
Up next the Lakers will take on Anthony Davis and New Orleans Pelicans at home on Sunday night.
