Turner’s Walk-Off Homer Lifts Dodgers To 2-0 Series Lead

Justin Turner hit a 3-run home run in walk-off fashion to lift the Los Angeles Dodgers over the Chicago Cubs in game two of the National League Championship Series.
It was the anniversary of the famous pinch-hit home run that shocked the world when Kirk Gibson went yard in the World Series 29 years ago.
For Los Angeles, Rich Hill got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run. He walked 1 and struck out 8 as he was awarded a no-decision for his efforts.
On the other side, Jon Lester got the start. He pitched 4.2 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run. He walked 5 and struck out 2 as he was awarded a no-decision.
The offense got started in the 5th inning when Addison Russell hit a solo shot that put the Cubs on the board. Turner answered back with a RBI single in the 5th inning that brought in Charlie Culberson and the score was tied at 1-1.
It was Turner again with 2 outs that hit a 3-run bomb that brought in Yasiel Puig an Chris Taylor and Los Angeles won by a score of 4-1.
