Thornwell is a second-round pick of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2017 NBA Draft. He played his college ball at the University of South Carolina under Frank Martin where he was named the SEC player of the year last season.
Thornwell was also named first-team All-SEC in 2017 and made the All-SEC freshmen team in 2014. Thornwell is competing for a roster spot with the Clippers and this injury may hold him back.
Turner reported that in Thornwell’s last preseason contest he was able to find the stroke from behind the arch.
