Lakers Hire Antawn Jamison For Scouting Role

According to Shams Charania of the Vertical, the Los Angeles Lakers have hired former All-Star Antawn Jamison for a scouting role.

Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

Jamison is a former number four overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft. He spent time with the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavilers, Lakers, and Los Angeles Clippers throughout his career.
Jamison totaled over 20,000 points in his NBA career and was named a 2-time All-Star and won the 6th man of the year award. Jamison will join Rob Pelinka and Magic Johnson in the front office. As more information surfaces on the Lakers and their offseason news, we will keep you up to date.
