Upton is a former number one overall selection of the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has spent time with the D’Backs, San Diego Padres, and Detroit Tigers before being traded to the Angels in July.
This season Upton hit 35 home runs and drove in 109 RBI’s. With the Angels he played in 27 games and hit 7 home runs. Anaheim made the late season addition in an attempt to sneak into the AL Wild Card spot but fell just short.
