Corey Tropp Placed On Waivers

According to Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register, the Anaheim Ducks have placed Corey Tropp on the waiver wire.
Scott Sabourin, Sam Carrick, Mike Liambas, Steve Oleksy, Corey Tropp on waivers. Ostensibly for purpose of sending down to AHL San Diego.

Tropp is a former 3rd round pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 2007 NHL Draft. He has spent time with the Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Anaheim Ducks throughout his career.
Last season with the Ducks he appeared in just one game with the NHL club spending most of the time with the San Diego Gulls AHL. With the Gulls, Tropp played in 62 games and recorded 54 points, 21 goals, and 33 assists. He had a plus/minus of 1.
