Dodgers Shut Down Adrian Gonzalez

According to Alanna Rizzo of the Dodgers, the Los Angeles Dodgers have shut down first basemen Adrian Gonzalez for the rest of the season and playoffs.
Adrian Gonzalez is being shut down for rest of year. Back tightened up after game last night. Won’t travel to CO.

Gonzalez has spent the last six seasons with the Dodgers and has been an All-Star, Silver Slugger, and a Gold Glove award with the club.
At 35-years of age Gonzalez played in just 71 games this season dealing with injuries. Gonzalez hit 3 home runs and drove in 30 runs.
