Dodgers Clinch 5th Straight NL West Title

The Los Angeles Dodgers used a strong start from Rich Hill to beat the San Francisco Giants 4-2 and clinch their 5th straight NL West title. Los Angeles has continued their reign over the NL West.
Hill threw 6 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 run. He walked 1 and struck out 9 and he picked up his 11th win of the year.
On the other side Jeff Samardzija got the start. He pitched 4.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 4 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 4 as he picked up his 15th loss of the year.
The offense got started in the 1st inning when Buster Posey hit a RBI single that brought in Gorkys Hernandez. Hill hit a RBI double in the 3rd inning that brought Logan Forsythe. Cody Bellinger followed with a 3-run home run that brought in Chris Taylor and Corey Seager and the Dodgers he’d a 4-1 advantage.
In the 9th inning Pablo Sandoval hit a solo homer and Kenley Jansen picked up his 40th save of the year.
