Jason Verrett To Undergo Season Ending Surgery

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com, Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Jason Verrett will undergo season-ending knee surgery.

Eric Williams of the ESPN.com shared some information on the news.
Jason Verrett will now have missed 39 of a possible 64 games in four seasons with the Chargers due to injuries.

Verrett is a former first round pick of the Chargers in the 2014 NFL Draft. Verrett has spent his entire career with the team but has battled injuries throughout his entire career.
Last season with the club he is was limited to four games and recorded 13 tackles. Los Angeles is not without one of their best defensive players and will have to find a way to manage.
