Joe Barry Defensive Coordinator Of Washington Redskins?

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com the Washington Redskins are ready to hire Chargers linebacker coach Joe Barry as their defensive coordinator.

Barry has been the linebackers coach for the Chargers since 2011. He was a defensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions back in 2007 and 2008.
Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego reported that no deal has been made just yet.

If Barry gets the job he will have a tough task on his hands as the Redskins ranked 20th in yards allowed and 29th in points allowed per game.
