Angels Beat Astros 9-1

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim used a big 1st inning to beat the Houston Astros 9-1 on Wednesday night. Anaheim has won 2 of their last 3 games.
For the Astros Mike Fiers got the start. He pitched 3.2 innings allowing 10 hits and 8 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 5 as he picked up his 10th loss of the year.
On the other side Tyler Skaggs got the start. He pitched 7 innings allowing 3 hits and 0 runs. He walked 1 and struck out 5 as he picked up his 2nd win of the year.
It was Mike Trout in the 1st inning hit a RBI double that brought in Brandon Phillips. Kole Calhoun followed with a RBI double. Andrelton Simmons followed with a RBI double. Luis Vallbuena hit a 2-run shot and capped things off with a 5-run 1st inning.
Phillips hit a 2-run single that brought in Valbuena and C.J. Cron. Albert Pujols hit a RBI single later in the inning and Justin Upton hit a solo hot in the 6th inning as the Angels led 9-0.
Max Stassi hit a sacrifice fly in the 8th inning to bring in Tyler White. Anaheim went on to win 9-1.
