Mariners Drop Angels 4-3

The Seattle Mariners dropped the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 4-3 on Friday night. Anaheim has loss two in a row now.
For Seattle, Mike Leake got the start. He pitched 6 innings allowing 6 hits and 3 runs, 2 of them earned. He walked 0 and struck out 5 as he picked up his 9th win of the year.
For Anaheim Ricky Nolasco got the start. He pitched 3.2 inning allowing 6 hits and 4 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 2 as he picked up his 13th loss of the year.
The offense got started in the 1st inning for the Halos. Justin Upton hit a 2-run single that brought in Brandon Phillips and Mike Trout.
In the 2nd inning Ben Gamel hit a 3-run homer. It was his 8th homer of the year and brought in Nelson Cruz and Mike Zunino and gave Seattle a 3-2 advantage.
Mitch Haniger hit a RBI single in the 3rd inning that brought in Robinson Cano. Albert Pujols hit a RBI single in the 6th inning that brought in Upton.
Edwin Diaz came on in the 9th inning and struck out 2 batters and picked up his 32nd save of the year.
