Diamondbacks Deal Dodgers 4th Loss in A Row

The Los Angeles Dodgers rally came up short as they fell to the Arizona Diamondback 6-4 on Wednesday night. For Los Angeles they have now loss 4 in a row.
Hyun-Jin Ryu got the start for the Dodgers. He pitched 4 innings allowing 8 hits and 6 runs. He walked 3 and struck out 2 as he picked up his 7th loss of the year.
On the other side Robbie Ray got the start. He pithed 6.2 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He walked 2 and struck out 10 as he picked up his 11th win of the year.
The offense got started in the 1st inning for Arizona. Adam Rosales hit a solo homer, and Paul Goldshimdt followed with a 2-run shot that brought in A.J. Pollock.
It was Brandon Drury that hit a RBI double in the 3rd inning that brought in J.D. Martinez and pushed the lead to 4-0. Chris Herrmann hit a solo homer in the 4th inning that pushed the Diamondback lead to 5-0. Pollock hit a RBI single to cap off the inning.
Grandson hit a solo homer to put the Dodgers on the board. Puig hit a 2-ri single, and Grandson drew a walk with the bases loaded but the Dodgers could not capitalize and fell 6-4.
Los Angeles will take on the D-Backs to wrap up the series this afternoon at 12:40 p.m. PST. Kenta Maeda and Zack Grienke are the projected starters.
