Los Angeles Clippers Interested In Arron Afflalo?

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com the Los Angeles Clippers have reached out to the Denver Nuggets about Arron Afflalo.

Since Mozgov trade, everyone is calling Denver on Chandler & Afflalo. Heard Heat, Clippers, Hornets have all discussed Afflalo.

The Denver Nuggets are looking to rebuild and they have plenty of options available for sale. The Clippers on the other hand are in the midst of the Western Conference playoff race battling for position. They have struggled with inconsistent play from their wing options and are looking for an upgrade.

Arron Afflalo could be a great option for the Clips. He had a career year with the Orlando Magic last year and is having a solid season this year as well. So far this season he is averaging 15.5 points and while shooting 35% from behind the three point line. He is a career 39% three point shooter and would be a nice option alongside Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

It is unknown what the Clippers would have to give in return to acquire Afflalo. It is well known are the league that the Clippers are already working a deal to bring Austin Rivers to Los Angeles.

The Clippers will take on the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow night at the Staples Center.
