Padres Option Outfielder Hunter Renfroe

According to Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the San Diego Padres have optioned outfielder Hunter Renfroe to Triple-A and recalled Jabari Blash.
The Padres optioned a struggling Hunter Renfroe to El Paso. He had two extra-base hits in August. Jabari Blash has been recalled.

Padres manager Andy Green spoke about the news on their official Padres Radio Twitter account.

Renfroe is a former first round pick of the Padres in 2013. This season with the Padres he is hitting .230 with 20 home runs and 47 RBI’s.
