Dodgers Beat Padres 6-3

The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the San Diego Padres 6-3 on Saturday night. Los Angeles was able to bounce back after losing the series opener.
For Los Angeles Hyun-Jin Ryu got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 7 hits and 3 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 5 as he was awarded the no decision for his efforts.
On the other side Jhoulys Chacin got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He walked 4 and struck out 3 and was awarded a no decision as well.
The offense got started in the first inning when Justin Turner hit a sacrifice fly to the right field that brought in Chris Taylor.
In the 3rd inning San Diego got on the board when Hunter Renfroe hit a RBI double that brought in Jose Pirela. In the 4th inning Chacin hit a RBI single that brought in Yangervis Solarte. Wil Myers hit a solo homer in the 5th inning to push the Padres lead to 3-1.
In the 6th inning Corey Seager hit a 3-run single that brought in Yasamani Grandal, Chase Utley, and Yasiel Puig. Corey Bellinger hit a solo homer in the 7th inning to push the Dodger led to 5-3. Taylor hit a solo homer of his own in the 8th inning to give the Dodgers the 6-3 advantage.
Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and struck out 2 to pick up his 31st save of the year. Los Angeles and San Diego will continue their series today a 1:10 p.m. PST. Luis Perdomo and Kenta Maeda are the projected starters.
