Lakers Sign Briante Weber To Partially Guaranteed Deal

According to Shams Charania of the Vertical, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Briante Weber to a partially guaranteed deal.
Free agent guard Briante Weber has agreed on a partially guaranteed deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources tell The Vertical.

Weber, the 24-year old point guard played his college ball at Virginia Common Wealth University. Weber is one of the greatest defenders in NCAA history. He torn his ACL and MCL late in his senior year where he was only 12 steals away from breaking the NCCA record for steals in a career.
Weber went undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft and joined the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He then signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies and then the Miami Heat.
Weber spent some more time in the D-League last season with the Skyforce before getting a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets.
He has played in 27 career games in the NBA and was named to the D-League All-Star Team, All-Defensive Team and All-NBA D-League second team.
