Matt Shoemaker To Undergo Season-Ending Surgery

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher Matt Shoemaker will undergo season ending surgery to release radial nerve in forearm on Tuesday.
The Angels announced Matt Shoemaker is having continued issues with the radial nerve compression, and surgery is an option.

Shoemaker has battled injuries this season and has made just 14 starts. He has posted a 6-3 record with a 4.52 ERA, he highest of his career.
