Derrick Rose Signs With Cleveland Cavaliers

According to Shams Charina of the Vertical, the Cleveland Cavaliers have signed free agent point guard Derrick Rose.
Derrick Rose has committed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers and completed his physical exam today, league sources tell The Vertical.

Chris Haynes of ESPN.com also reported the news.
Free agent Derrick Rose has reached an agreement on a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, league sources tell ESPN.

The Los Angeles had engaged in discussions with Rose about possibility coming to LA. Magic Johnson believed that Rose would be an excellent mentor to rookie point guard Lonzo Ball.
With the uncertainly of the Kyrie Irving and the point guard position in Cleveland Rose may wind up being the starting point guard.
