Dodgers Shutout White Sox, Kershaw Gains 15th Win

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the hottest team in baseball and they showed it once again as they beat the Chicago White Sox 1-0 on Tuesday night. For Los Angeles it was their tenth win in a row.

For the Dodgers Clayton Kershaw got the start. He pitched 7 innings allowing 7 hits and 1 walk while striking out 7. He picked up his 15th win of the year.

On the other Side Miguel Gonzalez got the nod. He pitched 6 innings allowing 5 hits and 1 run. He walked 5 and struck out 5 as he picked up his 9th loss of the year.

For Los Angeles the only run of the game came in the first inning. Cody Bellinger hit a RBI single to right center field that drove in Chris Taylor and gave the club a 1-0 advantage. For Bellinger it was his 62nd RBI of the year.

Kenley Jansen came on in the 9th inning and shut the club down. He picked up his 24th save of the year. Los Angeles and Chicago will close out the series tonight at 5:10 PST. Kenta Maeda and Carlos Rodon are the projected starters.
