Lakers Win Summer League Championship

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Portland Trial Blazers 110-98 on Monday night to win the 2017 NBA Summer League Championship. Los Angeles was without Summer League MVP Lonzo Ball who sat out with calf injury.
Kyle Kuzma led the way for the Lakers with another strong outing. He led the way with 30 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 11-16 from the field. Kuzma won the Championship MVP.
Vander Blue had a strong game as well. He added 20 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Alex Caruso flirted with a triple-double. He scored 15 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds.
For the Blazers Caleb Swanigan had a very strong game. He scored 25 points, had 12 rebounds, and 7 assists. For Los Angeles the win is the start of something big hopefully.
Los Angeles has not made the playoffs in the years and Magic Johnson is ready for them to take a turn in a positive direction. As more information surfaces on the Lakers and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
