Nwaba was waived by the Lakers earlier in the week to make room for the Kentavious Caldwell-Pope signing. Nwaba was a high energy player that fit in very well for Los Angeles.
He worked his way up for the Los Angeles D-Fenders to getting a NBA contract earlier in the month. Los Angeles waived him with the hope that they would be able to retain him but the Bulls went and snatched him up.
Los Angeles is currently looking for another point guard to add the roster. They took a hard look at Rajoy Rondo but Rondo eventually went a signed with the New Orleans Pelicans. Rondo will reunite with DeMarcus Cousins.
