Clippers Make Strong Impression on Danilo Gallinari

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com, the Los Angeles Clippers have made a strong impression on free agent forward Danilo Gallinari.

Wojnarowski reported that the Clippers had a strong interest in the Italian and would meet with him over the weekend.

Chris Broussard of FS1 shared his thoughts about a potential Gallinari Clippers pairing.

Gallinari is a former first round pick of the New York Knicks back in the 2008 NBA Draft. He spent time with the Knicks before being part of the mega trade that sent Carmelo Anthony to New York.

Last season with the Nuggets Gallinari averaged 18.2 points per game while shooting 39% from three and 45% from the field. Gallinari would be a perfect fit for the Clippers at the wing spot.
