Los Angeles Lakers Waive Tarik Black

According to Mark Brenshan of Spectrum Sports, the Los Angeles Lakers have waived Tarik Black.
Lakers waive Tarik Black, who would have made $6.7 million next season if Lakers kept him beyond next Tuesday.

Black has spent the last three seasons with the Lakers after a short stint with the Houston Rockets. Black’s energy and effort made a valued member in Los Angeles and the fans really appreciated his efforts.

Last season Black played in 67 games starting in 16 of them. He averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds while shooting 51% from the field.
