Blake Griffin To Re-Sign With Clippers

According to Brad Turner of the LA Times Los Angeles Clippers star Power Forward Blake Griffin will be returning to the team long-term.
Griffin and Clippers close to finalizing a five-year, max deal of $175 million for him to remain with team.

In what has been a tumultuous last few days for the Clippers, losing future Hall Of Fame Point Guard Chris Paul, this news is sure to keep the team from entering a full reset.
Griffin had many suitors including the Celtics, Thunder, Nuggets and a late addition the Suns. But just minutes before the word came out from Turner, Clippers fans got a little hint that their star Forward would be returning.
Blake Griffin has canceled meetings w/ Phoenix & Denver, I’m told. Barring wildcard team swooping in, sense is a return to Clippers coming.

Following Paul’s departure the team said they would be putting the “Full-court press” to bring Griffin back. Clearly the plan by worked for Head Coach Doc Rivers, Owner Steve Ballmer and team consultant Jerry West.
Having played for only Los Angeles in his NBA career since the team drafted him first overall in 2009. The five time All-Star has averaged 21.5 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game throughout his career.
