Lakers Pick Up Option On David Nwaba

According to Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum SportsNet, the Los Angeles Lakers have picked up the option on guard David Nwaba.
Lakers exercised $1.3 million option to keep David Nwaba next season. D-League call-up averaged 6 pts, showed solid defense in 20 NBA games.

Nwaba played in the Lakers G-League system last season and was promoted to the parent club during the year. He ended up playing in 20 games for the Lakers starting in 2 of them.
He averaged 6 points and 3.2 rebounds a night. Los Angeles has liked the development and progress from Nwaba this summer and have decided to bring him back next season.
