Lakers Shopping D’Angelo Russell?

According to Chad Ford of ESPN.com the Los Angeles Lakers are offering guard D’Angelo Russell in exchange for a second lottery pick.

Adrian Wojnarski of the Vertical reported that the Lakers are resisting salary cap dumps that would include Luol Deng or Timofey Mozgov at the moment.

Russell was the second overall selection in the 2015 NBA Draft and has been learning the game as a point guard and at times off guard for the Lakers. The former Ohio State point guard is just 21-years old and averaged 15.6 points per game last season.

It is unclear if a move for the another lottery pick would then lead to a move to acquire All-Star Paul George or not. As more information surfaces on the Lakers and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
