Gregg Bell of the Seattle News Tribune shared his thoughts on the news.
#Seahawks sign Austin Davis as their vet QB they’ve sought, because he’s a backup & team sees Colin Kaepernick as a starter it doesn’t need

Davis has spent time in the Rams and Cleveland Browns organization. With the Rams in 2014 he started in eight games and threw for 2,000 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions.
Many believed that Kaepernick would land in Seattle but they opted for Davis instead. Davis has not played in the NFL since 2015.
