Mike Trout Underwent Successful Surgery

According to the official twitter account of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Angels superstar outfielder Mike Trout has underwent successful surgery to repair UCL tear and dorsal capsule.
Mike Trout underwent successful surgery to the ulnar collateral ligament of his left thumb as well as a repair of his dorsal capsule today.

Trout was having one of his best seasons to date before he went down with the injury.
Mike Trout leads the American League with 776,937 votes for the 2017 All-Star Game.

Anaheim will most likely be without Trout for six to eight weeks as he tries to recover. They will need other guys like Kole Calhoun, to pick up the slack.
The Angels currently sit at a record of 28-28. It will be interesting to see where their offense will come from with the one of the best players in the league.
