Dodgers Place Alex Wood On 10-Day DL

According to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Dodgers have placed started pitcher Alex Wood on the 10-day disabled list.
Alex Wood is going on the DL with left SC joint inflammation.

McCullough reported further information.

Wood is off to an excellent start for Los Angeles this season. He has posted a 6-0 record with a 1.69 ERA in his eight starts thus far.
In 48 innings of work he has struck out 60 batters. It is a positive sign that he is only expected to miss one game with the injury.
Los Angeles will take on the St.Louis Cardinals today at Busch Stadium. Fans can watch on ESPN.
