Fister is a former seventh round pick of the Seattle Mariners in the 2006 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Mariners, Detroit Tigers, Washington Nationals, and Houston Astros throughout his career.
Last season with the Astros he posted a 12-13 record with a 4.64 ERA. With the Angels dealing with multiple injuries in the rotation they are hoping Fister can provide some needed help. Anaheim will continue their series against the New York Mets tonight.
