Dodgers Place Brandon McCarthy On 10-Day DL

According to Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Dodgers have placed right handed pitcher Brandon McCarthy on the 10-day disabled list due to shoulder soreness.
Brandon McCarthy has been placed on the DL. Adam Liberatore is up.

McCullough reported further details.
Brandon McCarthy said his shoulder feels fine, and he would have preferred to pitch today. It is his non-throwing shoulder.

McCarthy is off to a strong start this year with a 3-0 record. In his 5 starts he has pitched 29 innings and has a 3.10 ERA.
Los Angeles does not seem too concerned with the news. McCarthy should be ready to pitch early next week. He is slated to pitch in a simulated game sometime in the next few days as well.
