Padres Place Hector Sanchez On 10-Day DL

According to Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the San Diego Padres have placed catcher Hector Sanchez on 10-day DL.
The Padres just placed Hector Sanchez on the 10-day DL with his right foot contusion. Kevin Quackenbush has been recalled.

Sanchez, the seven-year veteran is in his second season with the Padres. He spent five years with the San Francisco Giants before joining the Chicago White Sox in 2016 followed by the Padres.
So far this season Sanchez has played in 18 games and has recorded one homerun to go along with three RBI’s. He is batting just .091.
Yesterday’s contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers was postponed due to rain. San Diego will take on the Texas Rangers tonight at Petco Park.
