Gobert suffered the injury in the first few minutes of Saturday night’s contest. Even without a defensive player of the year candidate the Jazz went on to steal homecourt advantage and win game 1.
Utah will rely on Derrick Favors to take on the load at the center position in game two in what will be considered a must win for the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin will need to shoulder some of the offensive burden order for the Clippers to get a better result.
