Former Rams LB James Laurinaitis Retire

According to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com former New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis has retired from the NFL.

Laurinatis shared the news of his official Twitter.

Ian Rapport of NFL.com confirmed the news.

Laurinaitas is a former second round pick of the Rams in 2009 NFL Draft. He spent seven years with the club before moving to the Saints.

Laurinaitas played and started all 16 games for each of those years. He is the Rams all-time leader in tackles at 654 tackles.

Los Angeles will look to improve this season after struggling and missing the playoffs last year. Rams fans truly appreciate the work Laurinaitas did.
