Lakers Season Finally Comes To An End

@MarcaBasket

The Los Angeles Lakers season is finally over. The Lakers ended the season 26-56, clinching their fourth straight season with less than 30 wins.

The Golden State Warriors beat the Lakers last night 109-94, as the best team in the league made this game not even close. Although the Lakers were coming into this game on a five-game winning streak, the Warriors showed the Lakers why they are the more superior team.

All of the Lakers starters scored in double figures, led by Jordan Clarkson‘s 17 points. Larry Nance Jr. added a
double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Nance also posted five offensive rebounds to lead both teams.

Warriors forward Kevin Durant led all scorers with 29 points and looked amazing in his third game back from injuries.

For the Lakers another tough season. Head Coach Luke Walton received praised from Golden State Head Coach Steve Kerr for the job he’s done with the club.

As we wrap-up the final recap on the team and the season, we can only wish the team much success and improvement for next season. HOPEFULLY, the turmoil of the front-office can be resolved and the team can get back to a championship caliber contender.

This wasn’t what Laker fans across the world expected to see. Another disappointing season of sub-par play from a team that has been looking similar to the Philadelphia 76ers, that has been tanking for years, in hope that stock-piling draft picks can solve all of their problems. Philadelphia IS NOT USED TO WINNING ANYTHING, LOS ANGELES IS!

This is Los Angeles! THE FANS ARE USED TO WINNING! And when our team’s don’t play well, it’s a big problem! It has been a long four-year stretch with this team, Magic and Miss Buss has to find a solution to restoring this franchise’s greatness! IT’S TRULY FRUSTRATING, to see the Lakers not winning, but the truth has to be told in this matter! Miss Buss, PLEASE make this franchise the crown jewel of the NBA once again! Please get stars to want to come here to play! in my final words, The Lakers has to be relevant again.

The staff of CaliSports News will continue to love and stick with this team always. Good luck next season.
