Lakers Shut Down Luol Deng

According to Mark Medina of Spectrum Sports, the Los Angeles Lakers have shut down forward Luol Deng for the rest of the season.

Medina added more information about the decision.
Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgov were the Lakers’ big free agent signings last summer. They’re also on the inactive list tonight vs Sixers

Bill Oram of the Orange County Register added his thoughts about the situation.
Maybe the Browns would like Timofey Mozgov or Luol Deng.

Deng was brought in last summer in an effort to beef up the Lakers roster along with champion center Mozgov. Los Angeles currently has the second worst record in the league and neither player has performed to the standards expected with the money shelled out to both of them.
