Lakers Win in Milwaukee, 122-114

The Los Angeles Lakers picked up a huge road win in Milwaukee over the Bucks, 122-114.

An unbelievable first quarter helped Los Angeles to hold on to the eight-point victory. The team scored 47 points in the first quarter and was able to hold a seventeen-point at the end of the quarter. The Bucks rallied late, outscoring the Lakers in the fourth 30-19 but fell short in the end.

The team was led in scoring by Nick Young with 26 points, 8 of 11 from the floor. Lou Williams added 21 points and was able to make two steals to lead the team. Julius Randle and Ivica Zubac both scored 15 points each and Randle grabbed seven rebounds. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo had a career high, leading all scorers with 41 points.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS FOR THE LAKERS:

The win was a product of three key areas. The team shot 52% from the field, 50% from three-point range and 83% from the free-throw line. With numbers like these, you won’t lose to many games. The team was simply outstanding in tonight’s win.

NEXT UP FOR THE LAKERS:

Los Angeles (19-37) will be back at home on Tuesday night to face the Sacramento Kings before heading back out on the road for another two games in Phoenix and Oklahoma City.
